This bike was stolen from a front porch on 9/10 at 11am. Please contact if found. Reward $100. Blue Canyon Road/Gravel bike with tan wall tires. Thanks in advance.
I don't want $100. I want clean unused cotton socks for my homeless friends. If we can find your bicycle, will you donate 20 pairs of clean unused cotton socks to the homeless community? If so, I'll turn on the red light with my homeless friends and we'll find your bike.
Roger that. My homeless friends and I will be on the lookout. I can't make any guarantees, but we have a lot of free time on our hands. Most stolen bikes are ridden in the downtown area. I've been through this routine many times before, and everyone needs socks.
It has been 20 days since your bike was stolen, but none of my friends have seen it. Usually, that means your bike was taken out of New Haven or sold for scrap. If it was taken out of New Haven, it's probably in West Haven or East Haven.
Any kind of socks would be great. The best place to donate clothing is at YHHAP (Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project). Their clothing donation bin is located on Old Campus, adjacent to Dwight Hall. They bring all donated clothing to St. Paul & St. James Episcopal Church.

Absolutely - I will make it 30 pairs. Thank you for the thought and have a great day.

Good luck with bike recovery and socks.
Sadly, I hear most bikes are sold for scrap and not used.

You can see information here... https://yhhap.org/clothing-closet
It's also possible to bring donated clothing directly to the St. Paul & St. James Episcopal Church located at 57 Olive Street.
They have limited hours because of COVID, but they should still be accepting donations.
Thanks so much. Everyone needs socks.
