This is not a complaint, just more so wondering since that seems to be the only small play area around that is suitable for my child, but it doesn't seem accessible.

The "tot lot" outside the entrance of the school is for the exclusive use of the kindergarten classrooms. The playground at DiSalvo park is open to the public and has an area (closest to the corner of Newhall/Sargent Street that is geared more towards tots). The Park is open from dawn to 10 P.M.
